UX/UI Design Intern

As a U/UX intern, you play a key role to ensure that the design of our toolsets will deliver a beautiful, easy to use, engaging and innovative user experience to our customers. You will participate in brainstorming, customer research, designing, and building visual design solutions to cater to specific manufacturing needs.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Work closely with the development and product teams to deliver consistent, aesthetically pleasing designs for our full range of software solutions
• Present the user-interface visually so that information is easy to read and intuitive
• Work directly with customers to brainstorm, build, and improve product design
• Co-own the design system including standardization of template library, design of UI elements (icons, toolbars, widgets, tabs), and creation of internal style guide
• Create UI/UX mockups and prototypes to illustrate design ideas

Requirements:

• Proficient in UI design/graphic software such as UXPin, Figma (training will be provided if needed), Illustrator, Photoshop, or other relevant tools
• Experience or desire to learn ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, or MVC
• Demonstrate competency of creative design capability whether through work experience, projects or personal portfolio
• Friendly and customer-centric attitude
• Meticulous and excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a dynamic business landscape
• Self-motivated and driven to excel and deliver, able to handle stress with a positive attitude
• Team player with a no ego and collaborative attitude
